Primavera na Galeria: Alan Sparhawk

Alan Sparhawk, the lead singer of the legendary band Low, is a prolific musician and a restless soul who is always eager to explore new sonic and psychic frontiers.
Taking a closer look at his parallel projects and his career spanning more than three decades, reveals a vast journey of experimentation, ranging from punk and funk to production and improvisation. Following the band's abrupt break-up in 2022 after the death of his partner, Mimi Parker, Sparhawk released White Roses, My God, a tense, provocative and exciting solo album whose daring experimentation is fuelled by profound lyrics and propulsive beats.

With a new album under his belt — With Trampled by Turtles, released at the end of May by Sub Pop — the musician is joining the Primavera Sound Porto warm-up, where he will also perform on 12 June on the Super Bock Stage.
With limited capacity, free tickets will be available to collect (maximum two per person) at the GMP counter on 10 June from 11 am onwards.
